If you want to change inputs, use the "Input (This Game)" menu. You can open MAME's internal menu by pressing TAB on your keyboard to edit even more options if you wish. It largely depends on what the game uses those keys for.

The number 9 key on your keyboard is bound to MAME's "Test" function which may also enter a setup menu. I haven't tried it myself by pressing it again should allow you to edit things such as putting the game into Free Play and calibrating the controls. In this case it tells the game to skip the network test in boot into the game. You can see that in this flyerīy pressing F2, MAME tells the game to enter a configuration mode. The networking test when booting the game is looking for the second board. The only problems i can think of would be the Neotec->Jamma Connection and the stereo speakers (which i would have to use 2xMono for UMK3).The original arcade machine for F1 Super Lap had seats for 2 players which meant two separate arcade boards that were connected together over a LAN. get sidearts/CPO/marquee from gameongrafix use the original control panel board from my MK1 (manufactured a duplicate for the MK1-Mame) change the non-jamma-harness to standard + kick harness 100% in every way the same cabinet Midway used (internal + external)

(When you rarely find one, it's 1800+$ unrestored) The game itself is simply b*llshit, I actually purchased this to finally build a 100% correct, dedicated UMK3-Machine, which are absolutely impossible to find over here. It's basically a Midway MK/KI-style cabinet, manufactured under license by Atari, here's the KLOV-link: Second arcade to my MK1 which is (so far as i know) unique in austria. Although we have arcades no man's land here in austria I managed to grab a Atari Radikal Bikers machine in great condition.
